3 easy ways to lose weight in a week without going on a diet!

It's always been important for me to maintain my body and stay in shape, that's why I make sure to watch what I eat and workout a few times a week. Here are some of my personal weight loss routines that help me stay fit!


1- Exercise

Now this is the dreaded one that I know most people don't want to hear, but it's necessary. In order to maintain your body and stay in shape, exercise is a MUST! However- it doesn't have to be a challenge or a struggle. 30-45 minutes a day is all you need to lose weight and get the body you want.

I work out for at least 1 hour a day, 4 days a week. My routine includes walking, weight lifting and yoga. None of which are strenuous exercises. I also make sure to go for brief walks after my meals to help them digest a bit. This is how I keep my metabolism boosted and my body in shape.


2. Drink Plenty of water

It is so vital to our health that we drink plenty of water to keep ourselves hydrated. Water is a big part of my weight loss routine and I make sure to drink several glasses per day. Although I don't follow the recommended 2.7 liters a day, I do make sure that I drink water with every meal. It's also the first thing I drink when I wake up in the morning.

On occasion I'll add some all natural supplements to my water to give it a bit of flavor. One of the programs that I like is the Drink2Shrink program. 3. Rest

Another way to maintain your weight is to get lots of rest. Stressing and burning yourself out results in fatigue and weight gain. Be sure that you're getting at least 8 hours of sleep at night and listen to your body. If you feel tired, rest. A little R&R is always important, not only for our physical health, but for our mental health as well.

I go to bed at a decent time and try not to stay on my phone too late at night. I wake up refreshed and prepared to take on the day. Believe it or not, getting a good night's sleep can help with concentration, brain function and weight loss.


My goal isn't to have the perfect body, it's to have a healthy body. I don't like diets because I don't like having to restrict myself from what I like to eat. The key to losing weight while still eating what you want is quantity and portion size. You can eat what you'd like and still lose weight as long as you do it in moderation. This is why walking after meals and drinking water is so important. It all plays a part in helping you to lose the weight.

You can also detox in order to clean your system and help jump start your metabolism. Detoxing is good for eliminating toxins from your body. Detox comes in several forms including teas, vitamins, minerals and even certain foods. Food like asparagus, broccoli and avocado are great for detoxing!
